What began as an endeavor to pass the time, developed into a cottage industry filling the days of many wives and mothers in The Bronx, NY.

A talented award winning in-house design team of industrial, graphic and interior designers work with engineers and draftsmen, color forecasters, and quality control experts to guarantee that only the finest materials are used and design integrity is maintained. The company moved to larger headquarters, and the business grew. The company now occupies several square blocks on Rose Feiss Boulevard in The Bronx, renamed by the Mayor of New York in honor of the companys matriarch.

After the war, Murray joined his mothers business and expanded it to include portable lighting. With pride in the past and commitment to the future, Feiss has expanded its extensive, copyrighted line of products to include grand chandeliers, casual fixtures, vanity bath lights with coordinated bath hardware, outdoor lighting, lamps, torchieres, wall brackets, and decorative accessories. Three generations have nurtured the company and it now stands as a leader with a reputation for impeccable craftsmanship, innovative design and honest value.
